Description
I'm Emmanuel.
I am a passionate, patient and loving person.
Personally, care and support has always been my greatest joy. This is because I love to help other people live the best of their lives.
Ever since I was a child, I always had interest in caring for others and helping them meet their daily life's goals and personal plans that make life meaningful to them.
I volunteered as a care assistant while I was still in high school in Ghana at a local hospital where I worked on the stroke rehabilitation ward to help clients ambulate and exercise.
With this experience, I chose Medicine as a profession and enrolled at the Achille Mario Dogliotti College of Medicine in my home country, Liberia and graduated in 2018 from the university with a degree in medicine.
Upon graduation, I completed two years of internship at various hospitals where I had the best experiences of my life working with different groups of people with various challenging conditions.
After completion of my internship, I worked for 3 years as a junior doctor, looking after different clients and caring for a whole range of conditions.
Furtherance to that, I worked as a Senior care assistant at Care Homes of Distinction, Reigate Surrey for 3 months. I also worked with Wijs & Co agency as a carer, doing one-on-one care at the Thorncliffe nursing home. Currently, I am working as a support worker for 3 gentlemen in thier own home, with Mediline Supported living.
I have completed several training in health and social care and hold NVQ 3 in health and social care for adults, NVQ2 in Food and Safty, Certificate in Infection Prevention and control and CPR and First Aid in the UK.
I am a trustworthy, disciplined, compassionate and patient person. I am dedicated and committed to duty.
My relationship with others is very friendly and lively, as such, I always find myself getting along with others even in stressful situations.
Contact me if you need someone more than just a carer.
Thanks
